EasyWithEZ modifications, 7 September 2026:
The pinned JavaScript bundles use in-memory preferences and a bounded in-memory
bundle cache instead of OPFS (including removal of the startup disk-usage scan), and connect
AudioWorklet output through the existing volume state via retro-runtime.js.
Game files and WebAssembly engine files are not modified by these changes.
Exact reproducible bundle patches: scripts/patch-retro-runtime.mjs in
https://github.com/easywithez/easywithez-os (same release revision as this player).
Integration source is served at /retro-runtime.js.

The included LICENSE.TXT grants free WWW and FTP sites a royalty-free right to
make the Game available for downloading, provided all original Game files and
copyright notices are included without modification. The hosted package
contains every file from the supplied archive unchanged, including every file
listed by the license. A separate EasyWithEZ configuration copy enables mouse
aiming only inside the temporary emulator session; the distributed original
DUKE3D.CFG remains unchanged. EasyWithEZ is not affiliated with or endorsed
by 3D Realms or Apogee Software.

DOOM - Episode One v1.9 shareware

The original limited-use shareware license permits making copies of the
Software to give to other persons without charging or receiving consideration.
In a written 1999 clarification preserved by Debian, John Carmack stated that
the DOOM shareware WAD is freely distributable. The hosted package contains
the unmodified DOOM.EXE and DOOM1.WAD from v1.9; their MD5 checksums are
e2382b7dc47ae2433d26b6e6bc312999 and
f0cefca49926d00903cf57551d901abe respectively. It also retains the original
README.TXT, ORDER.FRM and default configuration. This permission does not
apply to the registered or retail WAD files. A separate EasyWithEZ
configuration copy enables mouse input only inside the temporary emulator
session; the distributed original DEFAULT.CFG remains unchanged. DOOM,
id Software, and related names and trademarks belong to their respective
owners. EasyWithEZ is not affiliated with or endorsed by id Software,
Bethesda, ZeniMax, or Microsoft.
